As Bandung's Husen Sastranegara Airport is now an international airport as well, regional carriers started to offer direct services to Bandung from regional hubs such as Kuala Lumpur.

If you happen to spend a holiday in Bali and expecting a unique escape, Bandung is an interesting alternative as it gives a world of differences. Same level of attraction but in a significantly different ways. A direct flight between Denpasar and Bandung is available twice a day by AirAsia. You can also choose to fly to Jakarta and take a scenic comfortable 2 hours drive to Bandung.

If you are used to the luxury of private villa accommodation in Bali, Bandung has equivalent alternatives. As Bandung is a highland city located away from the beach, a beachfront villa is not an option though. Most Bandung villas are located in the uphill northern part of the city offering cooler climate and breathtaking views over the whole city.
